Learning objectives

Knowledge of the exploration on techniques of the vestibular apparatus. Methods of vestibular rehabilitation. Cochlear implants: programming and fitting

Prerequisites

The student must have sat the Audiometry V examination

Course unit content

Principles of electronystagmography, video-oculoscopy, video-oculography, stabilometry.Methods for recording spontaneous, revealed and provoked nystagmus.Stabilometric recording methods.Methods of vestibular rehabilitation in peripheral and central acute and chronic vestibular syndromes.Principles and methods for making cochlear maps in adults and children wearing cochlear implants.
