Learning objectives

The course aims to consider the chemical and technological aspects of the industrial production processes of the base organic intermediates (ethylene, propylene, butenes, butadiene, benzene, toluene, xylenes, methanol). A particular attention will be devoted to the industrial utilization of alternative to oil raw materials, such as coal and natural gas, also to produce hydrocarbon feeds useful as fuels.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
