Integrated course unit module: WASTEWATER AND AGRICULTURAL STUFFS

Learning objectives

The course objectives are to provide students with specific knowledge of the management of sewage and waste in farms, with particular reference to livestock farms.

Prerequisites

Course unit content

Agriculture and ecosystem. Manure management in dairy farms: quantification of the volumes produced, methods of treatment, identification of their quality, agronomic use, scheduling of doses and times of spreading, spreading techniques and procedures. Farm waste management. European Community and national laws.
