Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the basic methodological tools required in order to approach the study of photography, along with adequate knowledge of the main events that have marked its history, examined through the work of significant photographers. In addition, the course aims to provide students with the theoretical tools necessary for a proper analysis of the relationship between photography and other artistic expressions around which their study programme centres.

Course unit content
In the course students will be provided with a methodological introduction to the historical-critical study of photography, whose history will be examined, from its onset to the most recent developments, through the work of the most important photographers and movements.
