Course unit content

This course introduces the laws of Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Electrostatics at an elementary level. It consists of 26 two-hour lectures, following the same approach of many undergraduate American textbooks. If you follow this course you must get one textbook by the time you attend the second lecture.

The course slides are available in the 2009-10 version in pdf format within a single zip file (In Italian). This allows you to preview the content and to annotate the slides if you wish. They are just a visual aid for the presentations which does not substitute the textbook.

Further 25 two-hour sessions are dedicated to problem solving with tutors (IDEA project). The problems are available in advance in pdf format within a single zip file.
