Learning objectives

The course aims to familiarize students with theoretical treatment of educational issues and have them acquire the critical tools to highlight their limitations

Prerequisites

Students must have obtained 10 learning credits in General Education

Course unit content

The course focuses on two main topics: during the first part of the course, we’ll focus on the contemporary trend of educational researchers to overlap Theory of education and Philosophy of education; in the second part, we’ll delve into epistemology of education through the analysis of what one of the main authors in this field wrote.
