Learning objectives

The main objective is the acquisition of the knowlegde required for a correct use of the spectroscopic techniques used in the field of conservation science. The students have to learn the basys of optics, of the instrumentation technology, of light sources and detectors.
A deeper theoretical and practical knowledge will be gained on some specific techniques: micro-Raman, FTIR and NMR.
