Learning objectives
The educational objectives of the thesis consist of the ability to: obtain, consult and use the scientific literature
of the most relevant journals
International, to collect experimental data and to analyze them critically, to produce original results through the formulation and calculation of physical quantities within the known theories and their possible extensions, to write and discuss scientific reports of
high quality and complexity.

Course unit content
To attain the degree in Physics is required to write a thesis research. The research must be carried out at the University of Parma or in qualified research laboratories, Italian or foreign, outside the University under the supervision of
a rapporteur appointed by the Board of the undergraduate program.

As part of the thesis, which attributes 42 credits, the student
will examine a specific research topic and become familiar with
cutting-edge techniques, both in the field of experimental measurements and theoretical methods of calculation.
