Learning objectives

advanced knowledge of clinical psychology, and assessment psychodiagnosis psicofisioilogico, basics on psychological counseling.
It 'will be a premise on the concept of a continuum between normality and pathology and an insight into the physiological bases of behavior related to individual mental disorders treated.
Will stress the importance of proper diagnosis and multidimensional as orientation to an adequate therapy and, above all, for preventive measures and rehabilitation - educational. Will also be described and analyzed the most current methods for the verification of treatment and counseling activities.

 Mental health and culture of reference
 Mental health and the interpersonal context
 Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology, similarities and differences
 The Axis I and II disorders in the DSM-IV-TR
 The physiological bases of normal and pathological behavior
 The diagnosis time as a preparatory intervention: the categorical approach, the multidimensional approach, nosological diagnosis and functional diagnosis, psychological clinical interview, observation, psychological assessment and clinical psychophysiology.
