Learning objectives

The course aims to promote both theoretical knowledges and methodological skills concerning several organized systems based on the Assesment-Instruction-Education sequence: PSI (Personalized System of Instruction), Portage Program, A.B.A. (Applied Analysis of Behavior). A certification of A.B.A. is now requested by the scholastic policies to teach disabled children in all degrees of the school, and to assist them in the institutions.
Specific attention will be also devoted to the “communication style” that inside the scholastic and institutional settings, is not always shared. Competences of self-management, self-control, problem solving, decision making and autonomy will be also supported.

Prerequisites
