Learning objectives
The aim of the course is the knowledge of procedures and the acquisition of competence in the use of the quantitate data elaboration. The course will also show how these knowledge can be applied to the implementation of research projects on issues related to the professional reality.

Course unit content
The laboratory will be dedicated to the quantitative research methodologies and will include lessons and practical exercises on inserting, recoding and elaborating data through SPSS software.

Lectures and exercises will be proposed in order to facilitate the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and the use of the learned skills.
Assessment methods and criteria
The exam includes a practical test and an write examination. The practical test is designed to assess the skills to apply the learned methodologies. The written examination will assess students’ acquisition of knowledge of research methodologies and their application to the professional field.
