Learning objectives
The course aims to develop: 1) the knowledge of different theoretical models of emotional development, 2) the knowledge of the state of the scientific literature on emotional competence and processes of emotional socialization, 2) knowledge of some tools to assess the development emotional and emotional competence in early childhood.

Course unit content
The course aims to address emotional development since the early months of life until preschool second major psychological perspectives. Ample space will be devoted, both theoretically and empirically, the constructs of social emotional, social, and emotional regulation reference. Will be presented as well as some tools to assess emotions.
