Being able to recognize the specific epistemology of practice and the "dualistic" epistemology of sciences in its historical origins
Being able to distinguish the technical vs pratical rationality

Course unit content

Social and epistemological turns changed both traditional ideas of "Professional" vs "Scientific" knowledge. The course will explore the piagetian Genetic Epistemology as epistemology centered on the action and introduce the critics about the "normative action model".
