the couse ais to provide a selection of the latest methods of criminological intervention that can be used in the work of the social worker.

Course unit content

the first part of the course will analyze the importance of social and economic factors in the genesis of criminal phenomena. the second part of the course will examine the most recent studies on personality of offenders and the intervention of criminal policy.
Finally, the tird pat will deal with some aspects of deviance in the italian society focusing on the ways in wich the community reacts to the deviant behavior
