Learning objectives

The course aims to prepare students on the geological mapping based on outcrop and subsurface data. Moreover by articulated field activities the student will test itself ability in the geologic and geomorphologic surveys related to field data acquisition, sampling, structural framework, quaternary mapping covers ecc. The professor superintends these activities and provide with observations, advices and field checks for data and results improvement.

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of the following subjects are warmly recommended: topography, sedimentary and structurale geology, petrography and geomorphology.

A
Theoretical, tecknical and field ability in geological survey and mapping (Mod. I) with field examination of the student skills on mapping and geological report dratf and sections.
