The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of the anatomy of organs, systems and apparata; it also approaches the necessary elements for biotypes evaluation and classification, focalised to physical activity and sport

Course unit content
Surface Anatomy:
Head and Neck; Chest; Abdomen; Upper limb; Lower limb.
Digestive System: histological general organization;Buccal cavity; Pharynx; Esophagus; Stomach; Small Intestine; Large Intestine; Liver and Pancreas. The anatomical basis of intestinal absorption.
Urinary System:Macro-microscopic anatomy of the kidney; The anatomical basis of filtration and re-absorption.
General organization of the male and female reproductive apparata. Gonads.
The endocrine system:pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal gland, endocrine pancreas.
