Learning objectives
The course is addressed to students who have no specific expertise in the field of Medieval Philosophy. The goal of the course is to acquaint students with the most important philosophical and theological topics and figures of the Middle Ages, and to furnish them with the necessary tools in order to obtain a general knowledge of both the history and the historiography of Medieval Philosophy.
Prerequisites
None, except for a general knowledge of the History of Philosophy and of the History of Ancient Philosophy in particular.
