Course unit content

During their last year, students deal again with historical subjects to improve their instruments of critical analysis and historiographical synthesis, in view both of writing their thesis and of coping more knowingly with their future profession. The course is divided in two parts: the first one is an overview of the main traditions and of the most prominent authors in the architectural literature. The second is aimed to give some hints about theoretical thinking and historiographical methods in architecture.
