Learning objectives
To apply on the field the concepts retained during the three past years of study, and
to set down a naturalistic report.
Prerequisites
The student must have taken and possibly passed the examinations of the
classes in botanics, zoology, mineralogy, ecology, petrology and geology.
Course unit content
The course takes place within an interdisciplinary excursion held in
sites of natural and environmental interest. We will examine critical
botanical, geological and zoological issues with the help of lecturers and specialists of the different field of reasearch.

Bibliography
No textbook. Reference papers concerning the specific activities will be given durings the excursions.
Teaching methods
Field activities and analysis of the data collected in the field.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral presentation of a powerpoint focussed on a specific argument treated during the field excursions.
Other information
The activity will often involve mountain walking on footpath.
