Learning objectives
1) Knowledge. This course will enable students to put in practice the notions of macroeconomics learned during the Laurea triennale so as to understand the mechanisms of the crisis as described in the media.
2) Judgement skills. Students will improve their ability to give a personal take to the content of media articles, with special emphasis on the analysis of macroeconomic policies and shocks
3) Communication skills. This course encourages student communication skills also providing lunch talks where media articles are informally and collectively discussed and made available at the Facebook site of the Euroscenari Lunch Talk

This course presents the main trends, the tools and the indicators of economic cycles and gives a thorough analysis of the effects of the current crisis and the mcraoeconomic policy responses on the activity of markets and firms
