Learning objectives
Knowledge of the recent psychoanalytic theories. Starting from some classical models (in particular, Freud, Klein and the post-Klein authors), the analysis of authors and theoretical paradigms in a relational perspective.
Application of the psychoanalytic concepts to narration, as a mean of construction of the individual identity.
1. Knowledge and ability of understanding. The students will have to learn the knowledge of the themes exposed during the course. In particular, they must have learned the thought of the authors, analysed from their theoretical, methodological and clinical point of view. They must be able to study the narration as a mean of construction of the individual identity and of care of the Self.
2. Ability of employing the known and understood concepts. The students will have demonstrate to be able to reflect critically on the theories, the methods and the clinical aspects of the various authors and to be able to compare the different models. They must be able to employ the psychoanalytic concepts in the written narration as a way of Self-care in different contexts.

Course unit content
1) General epistemological concepts of Psychoanalysis: Freud, Ego Psychology, Klein, Bion, Jung, Middle Group, Self Psychology.
2) The interpersonal model: Sullivan, Fromm, Horney. Fonagy. Baranger. Lacan. Green. Matte Blanco. The development of the relational point of view in the Psychoanalysis. The Psychoanalysis and the Groups.
3) The narrative identity in the hyper-modern society.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seven exams in three sessions. The tests are written. There is no difference in the program between attending and not attending students.
3 open questions. The conclusive score is made up by the sum of the scores of each answer. The passing grade (18/30) will be reached in the absence of several or serious mistakes.
