Self-assessment test 2023-2024

Admission to the degree course requires an adequate initial preparation, which is verified upon completion of enrolment through an online test aimed at ascertaining the level of knowledge of enrolled students in certain subjects: biology; chemistry; mathematics and physics; logic; economics; history and general culture.

The self-assessment test is important because it tells students whether their preparation meets the prerequisites necessary to successfully tackle the course of study.

If the test is not taken or the result is not positive, specific additional training obligations (hereinafter referred to as OFAs) to be fulfilled within the first year of the course are indicated.

The manner of assessment and the content of the test will be publicised in detail, well in advance, by means of a special notice on this website.

Additional educational obligations (OFAs) include personal study and/or participation in pre-courses/seminars. In order to enable the OFAs to be fulfilled, a schedule of test repetitions is planned. The first test session will be held in the first semester.

Students who have not completed their OFAs by the start date of the second year's teaching activities will not be able to sit the second-year examinations. OFAs will be deemed fulfilled by passing the first-year examinations whose SSD (Academic discipline) relate to the Degree Course.

All information on access is contained in the didactic regulations and the detailed information on OFAs (content to be retrieved, description and mode of delivery of the test, assessment criteria, test schedule) will be published on the Degree Course website after the closing of enrolment.

We strongly urge ALL students to carefully assess their possession of the skills described below so as to fill any gaps by studying independently this summer.
