Learning objectives
By the end of the course, students will be familiar with the composition and functioning of tissues, with particular regard to the female genital apparatus. They must possess knowledge of the physiological and endocrine mechanisms for the regulation of ovarian and menstrual cycles. They must have acquired skills in understanding physio-pathological phenomena, an essential prerequisite for applying treatment techniques.

Anatomy of the pelvis (bones, joints, muscles, nerves, blood vessels), the pelvic floor and descensus, the structures supporting and suspending the pelvic organs, functional anatomy of the female genital apparatus, anatomy and physiological changes in the breast, physiology of female reproductive functions (the ovarian and menstrual cycles),
