Learning objectives
Offer the student in a phase of great uncertainty between the old discipline and the new T.U. an aid to enter the logic and technicality of the subject in order to allow it to be better assimilated and the acquisition of the bases for the deepening of the same or for the carrying out of work in the sector.
Prerequisites
In order to take the Urban Law exam, students must have passed the examinations of Institutions of Private Law, Institutions of Roman Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law I.

- Urban planning: general aspects.
- General urban planning planning: the territorial coordination plan.
- General operational urban planning: general master plan and manufacturing program.
- Ordinary spatial implementation planning: detailed plans and subdivision plans.
- Time planning: multi-annual implementation programs.
- Urban planning for special purpose spatial planning: plan for economic and popular construction, plans for productive settlements, recovery plans, other special plans.
- The interventions on the existing building patrimony.
- Building activity.
- Urban violations.
- Localization of public works.
- Expropriation for public use.

Teaching methods
The teaching activities will consist of lectures and meetings with technicians (teachers of technical subjects, engineers, architects and planners).
The lessons will be held aiming at the maximum involvement of the students, so that they are not only a phase of illustration of the subject, but also already a time of learning and preparation of the exam.
During the year, exercises will be carried out on specific themes, above all by reading and examining the most recent and important judgments concerning the subject.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final exam will consist of an oral exam, usually divided into three questions, one for each part of the course: the questions are aimed at understanding if the student has acquired sufficient knowledge of the fundamental aspects of each part.
At the discretion of the student, the exam will be sustainable in two interviews: one will focus on the planning; the other on building activity and expropriation for public utility. The dates of the talks can be agreed with the teacher.
