Course presentation

The idea of launching a new Single-cycle Degree course in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma with headquarters in Piacenza, to be taught in English, is a project that was born within the University with a threefold objective to strengthen the educational offer in Medicine and Surgery; to increase the degree of internationalisation of the University and, more generally, of the international university medical education offer in the Emilia-Romagna Region; create a synergy with ample potential for development between the quality elements of the current Degree course in Medicine and Surgery in Parma and the healthcare structure of the Piacenza area, characterised by a long and undisputed tradition of excellence which today is in the already mature phase of planning a new hospital structure and therefore ideally able to model itself on the structural and technological levels required for international medical training.
