Learning objectives
<br />The student should demonstrate to know how to approach the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic diseases. To achieve this objective it is also necessary to possess basic notions on the oncogenetic process and knowledge of conventional and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Moreover, the student should achieve the principles of stem cell therapy to treat oncologic diseases and to regenerate damaged organs.

<br /><br />Oncologically oriented collection of the clinical history and physical examination .Formulation and analysis of the laboratory tests indicative of the pathology.Search for the best anatomical region for the biopsy and the best biological and molecular accuracy to ensure the diagnosis.Interpretation of the histologic diagnosis.Search for the best radiologic tool to assess the prognosis and therapy for the case.Basic notions on the therapeutic approach and its complications.Basic notion of stem cell-based therapy.
