Learning objectives

The student will acquire knowledge of the principles of biology and of the scientific methods necessary for understanding and mastering how the human body functions.
The student will acquire knowledge of genetics, will undertaand the importance of the evolutionary framework to understand the common principles that underly human and animal structure and function and they will be able to apply the scientific approach to psychobiological problems and to understand the, and succesfully communicate through, the scientific language.
