Learning objectives
The course aims to make students capable of independently developing a critical essay or review for publication in a literary magazine. As such, part of the course is devoted to the teaching of writing such essays.
Prerequisites
To take the course a basic knowledge of Italian literature is required.

Teaching methods
The teaching consists of frontal lessons, lectures and written homework. The final assessment is out of thirty and will take into account not only the oral examination, but also the evaluation of the essay written by the students, previously corrected and discussed in the oral examination.
