The course aims to provide the theoretical and conceptual basis for addressing the study of sociology and to the analysis of collective phenomena own of complex societies . Much of the course is devoted to the fundamental categories of sociological modernity ; social action ; the values , norms and social institutions ; identity and differences ; socialization ; the gender and the life course ; groups and organizations ; education and instruction ; inequality and social stratification ; social mobility ; the family; the religion; deviance and crime ; production and consumption ; politics , the state , the movements . It ' also provided the study of the thought of some classics , through which delve even some methodological dimensions of social research .
